Welcome to our Community Pages
At St James' we value our community, our school family, very highly.
Here you can find out more about our links with different groups. You can also find out about our library, our School Council and the horticultural work we do in our garden and how we use our produce in our weekly cooking sessions.
We are proud of our fund raising and charity work both locally for Willow Wood Hospice in Ashton and globally by sponsoring a child through Action Aid and our excellent links with Rukungiri Modern Primary School in Uganda.
We have a small, hard working Friends of St James' group who, among other things, organise and run our Christmas and Summer school fairs - we are always ready to welcome new members so let us know if you can spare some time and would like to join us.
Our Christian ethos is central to all we do and we encourage all our children, whatever their faith background, to take time to develop their spirituality and to think about life's big questions. We would like to invite you to share that experience and visit our prayer space - to take a moment out of your busy day and reflect.
